Framed by the setting sun, a lone silhouetted adult doe slowly moves to its feeding area. Tonight it will browse on plant tips, grasses, acorns and will check out the nearby corn and bean fields. Before dawn it will travel back to its bedding area where it will chew its cud and digest the food further. The doe is most likely pregnant and will deliver its fawn in about six weeks. Tonight it's eating for two.
