Winter came early this year to Eighty Acres with October snow, blustery winds and below normal temperatures. Just wondering if this bluejay ever thinks about heading south and finding a little place in Florida for the winter? Thinking about being a snowbird myself this year. Escaping the ice, gray clouds and shoveling sounds like a good idea. But I really do enjoy snowshoeing. Wonder how it would work if I brought my snowshoes along and walked in the sand? Don't think the flamingos would care.
