Today a red lily bloomed in my garden. It was the flower's first day and last day. The lily's entire flowering life counted in a single day. Would it have been extra beautiful. graceful or fragrant if the Earth Mother had given it just one more minute to bloom? One more hour? One more day? Does one's life become better with more time? Maybe if we are truly mindful of each day's journey, we will all have, just enough time.
