Frost crept over the garden terrace early Tuesday morning and the dahlias went to sleep. The once vibrant greens, reds, pinks and yellows have turned brown and the dahlias slowly lowered their heads upon their hollow stems. Absolutely beautiful dahlias this year. Thank you Earth Mother. Their memories will keep me warm this winter and give me hope for the coming spring.
