Creamy or Crunchy?

Numerous times I attempted to photograph Blue Jays but more often than not have failed. Blue Jays love to grab their food and quickly fly away. In an attempt to slow them down I placed globs of peanut butter on a branch and then placed peanuts in each sticky spot. This Blue Jay grabbed the peanut, gave me a suspicious look, and quickly flew away to enjoy his sticky treat. This experiment got me thinking. I wonder. Do Blue Jays prefer creamy or crunchy?
